CI Games has revealed the PC requirements for Lords of the Fallen 2, whose version will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store and not available on Steam.

Lords of the Fallen 2 Will Be Epic Games Store Exclusive

Interestingly, the naming of this saga is a bit confusing: Lords of the Fallen 2 is technically the third entry, following the 2023 game and the original title from 2014, released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

This new installment, announced during ONL Gamescom 2025, is set to launch next year on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, with the intention of surpassing everything seen before while avoiding old mistakes.

Although Lords of the Fallen 2023 managed to redeem itself through updates, this second part aims to push the formula much further. However, for now, it will leave Steam users out.

The upcoming CI Games title has disclosed its preliminary PC requirements while also confirming its exclusivity on the Epic Games Store.

At least at launch, the game will not be available on Steam, and the PC version will require an Epic Games ID to play.

The initial requirements are demanding and aimed at mid-to-high-end systems:

It’s worth noting that the game runs on Unreal Engine 5, a powerful engine capable of spectacular results, though it has recently faced criticism due to optimization issues in other titles.

A Darker Chapter in the Saga

Lords of the Fallen 2, described by CI Games as the “Empire Strikes Back of the series,” takes players to a devastated world set 100 years after the events of the previous game.

The Lords of the Fallen, Spiritual Successor

The Umbral continues to spread, allowing horrors from the realm of the dead to invade the world of the living. To stop this menace, players must travel between dimensions.

Once again, the lamp that bridges both realms will be a key tool, alongside new powers that are vital for surviving much more challenging battles.

Release Window

For now, CI Games has not given a specific release date, only confirming that Lords of the Fallen 2 will arrive in 2026. Expectations are high, and many already see it as one of the most promising soulslikes of next year.
